DOQ PTY LTD recently relocated to their new office on Pyrmont Wharf in Sydney CBD. DOQ is a cross culture advertising agency between Australia and Japan. It made sense for them to use Japanese products throughout their new office.
The furniture selected for their new office is from a very innovative Japanese brand who has been established for more than 100 years – KOKUYO. KOKUYO’s products prioritises the user’s needs and interests which is very much in line with the philosophy of DOQ.
In the first floor, KOKUYO open space workstations utilising the SAIBI workstation system were used to promote a co-working environment where staff and even guests can have small discussions or bounce ideas off each other. BEZEL executive task chairs with contoured mesh back and ergonomic seating were used throughout.
Staff also have access to their own KOKUYO iNON locker for their personal belongings which features different compartments to store various items from iPads, A4 documents, drink bottle and even has a slot to for mail and documents.
The same setup has been used in the ground floor space that has been established as a co-working space – DOQ 89. DOQ 89 is a place where entrepreneurs to government representatives, can expose their businesses to a cross-cultural way of working and collaboration. The SAIBI workstations have been utilised here to cater for up to 12 users. There is also a private meeting room in the ground floor which can open up for functions and events.
